Get Your Arse Up! Be Motivated!!

h-ALARM-CLOCK-SNOOZE-960x540

That's right YOU, it's time to get up and live your life.

In a morning your alarm clock goes off as usual and you decide to stay in bed for that extra 5 minutes by pressing snooze! Make tomorrow the day you don't press snooze!!

For the next morning, change your alarm clock to 30 minutes earlier and when the alarm clock goes off, don't press snooze, jump straight up and begin your day, your week, your life with confidence and motivation to start with and you will have the best days of your lives. Plan as you mean to go, make a difference.

I have been inspired and you should be too. Make that step, make your first step in the morning to awaken your inner senses and feelings.

make today count

Make This Day Count.

I am inspiring others and being motivated by YOU, people around me. Nichola (my wife), Link4Growth; Chris, Gerri, Nikki, Lisa, Carol, Alex, Mike to name a few. This can only grow and together we can better ourselves and myself into a person that wants to give and learn and teach my experiences, good and bad.

What Will YOU Share?

Communicating In Your Community

Community2From only launching my first event with Link4Growth I can see the amount of potential in helping so many people and people that want to help each other. The attendance was amazing for my first district event and will only get better and better.
It was amazing to communicate with so many people and hear their story and what they can offer others. Variations of people; from social media, design, marketing to caring, property, furnishings and cutting hair! All this just in 1 event!! WOW, it was a great experience to actually not only be apart of it but also to have been the person to organise and bring these people together.
Keep-It-Local-Logo-Concepts
People came from Huddersfield, Bradford, Halifax, West Leeds (Pudsey), Redcar (North East) and Watford to be part of my first event.
This shows me and YOU the POWER you have, the POWER you possess to share and learn with others.
I appreciate everyone that attended and hope you can pass on the word to others about our local community events.
Conversation Sparks Movement.

Large supermarkets are damaging our local heritage and local businesses!

We must put a stop to them getting anywhere near our local villages, smaller towns and cities. Stay on the outer areas! I really think that there should be a rule in place for larger supermarkets wanting to take over small buildings in villages and towns etc and leave the local people to help each other and keep building their strong relationships with one another.

Let me know your thoughts on this and any examples of this kind of thing happening in your area?

Here is a link, a prime example, to a local village in Bradford

Lot's Of People Ask Me What is Link4Growth?

Link4Growth is for everyone. No matter what you do you can make a difference to your community. We all have something to share.

Link4Growth is boldly a revolution… people coming together, working together believing in one another. Helping everyone around them. Take a step back in time, 1945, from when the World War II had ended. People came together in all villages, towns and cities helping one another with building their homes back up again, supporting one another with what they can do. People became stronger again and built up their homes, shops, businesses and cities, towns and villages.

We can all do this again. Who's with us? What can you offer someone today? This is our time to shine, YOUR time to shine and stand up for yourself and for others, not to be sat in the shadows and do the norm. What do you actually believe in, what can you do to make change where you live?

In the last few years I have seen this kind of good spirit in communities already in housing estates where I use to deliver sweets (Sweety Guy). Neighbours getting on with each other, I could really feel a good sense of care in them and they loved me delivering sweets to them too!

So what are you waiting for… let's all get together and help each other.

Bradford's New Look Is Improving

Bradford's Broadway shopping development is well underway. It is about time we had a facelift!

I was in Bradford on Sunday although there are some nice places to visit, I do have the feeling that it needs more adding to it. I felt a little unsafe walking in some parts, which are where in the past their as been quite a lot of shops, now there are quite a few derelict units and only the odd shops open are general pasty or pound shops. We all need to pull together and make Bradford better than it is now. Parts of Bradford seem to be better looked after. It's a shame that it as been divided like this.

On a plus side I did like walking around Waterstones and having a pizza slice, from our old favourite italian cafe 'Pizza Pieces' they still make the best pizzas I have ever tasted.

Broadway shopping development is coming on really quickly and I feel will give it a small impact boost to our town and I also hope it encourages other small businesses to setup in the city centre.

What do you think to the new development in Bradford?

Do you agree that we need more local businesses to setup in the city?
